Come along to the Eagle Pub on Thursdsy 27th January at 7pm to meet other participants in a relaxed and informal environment! Meet other like-minded people who share your interest in the environment and make friends. Also, see who may share your creative vision, and find your teammates to enter the challenge with.
Don’t worry if you haven’t attended any other Carbon Challenge events so far, come along to find out more, meet other participants, and discuss how you can fulfill your potential with the Challenge’s co-ordinaters who will also be on hand.
The Carbon Challenge, run by Cambridge Zero in partnership with Carbon13, Cambridge Enterprise and Energy IRC, invites small teams of postgraduates and postdoctoral researchers to submit early-stage proposals to facilitate or accelerate energy transitions which affect us almost every day. These can include how we travel, eat, use power and spend and invest money. The challenge empowers you to find, develop and collaborate on ideas which help tackle the climate crisis and drive positive change!
Participants don’t need to be seasoned entrepreneurs – participation in the project is designed to help you feel more confident in the entrepreneurial space with the potential to translate into a business opportunity.
