We play a key role within the Cambridge entrepreneurial ecosystem, working within and beyond the University to create impact through research commercialisation.
As a successful and mature ecosystem, Cambridge can appear complex and even chaotic, but is actually highly connected and supportive whether you are a member of the University, or an organisation looking to do business with it.
Follow the links below to access more information about both resources available within the University and more widely in the Cambridge Cluster and beyond.
The Cambridge Cluster – sometimes known as the Cambridge Phenomenon – is the most successful technology network in Europe, and plays a leading role globally. There are more than 5,000 knowledge-intensive firms based in and around Cambridge, employing more than 69,000 people and generating £18 billion turnover.
The University publishes Innovation in Numbers, a visual summary of the Cambridge Cluster and the University’s role within it. The infographic demonstrates the success of the Cambridge entreprenurial community and illustrates how the University, with Cambridge Enterprise’s support, contributes to it.
