Venkatesh Ramaning
Commercialisation Associate (Physical Sciences)
Venkatesh “Venky” Ramaning is a Commercialisation Associate in the Physical Sciences team at Cambridge Enterprise. In this role, he is instrumental in identifying and evaluating new technologies emerging from University research. He supports academics in protecting their intellectual property and commercialising research.
Before joining Cambridge Enterprise, Venky amassed a blend of experiences, including over five years (part-time + full-time) in technology transfer in the United States and roles at Zimmer Biomet and Tesla Inc.
Venky holds a master’s in mechanical engineering from the US and is a Certified Licensing Professional (CLP) certified. Venky was recently awarded the Volunteer Service Award from the Association of University Technology Managers (AUTM) in 2022. AUTM is a well-known Tech Transfer association in the US. Besides his expertise in Tech Transfer, Venky enjoys adventure sports like skydiving and traveling.
Venky started working at Cambridge Enterprise in January 2024.
