Our Funds: University of Cambridge Enterprise Fund (UCEF)
The University of Cambridge Enterprise Fund (UCEF) was launched in 2012, combining the expertise of Cambridge Enterprise, one of the world’s leading technology transfer organisations, and Parkwalk, the UK’s biggest investor in university spin-outs.
The fund offers alumni, individuals associated with the University, and other investors the opportunity to invest in companies formed to commercialise scientific and technological discoveries made at the University of Cambridge, in a tax-efficient manner. By investing alongside the University of Cambridge, UCEF is able to double the capital provided to investee companies.
UCEF I – X have raised £30.4 million of funds to invest in Cambridge spin-outs. UCEF portfolio companies have collectively raised over £1 billion of syndicated capital and are valued at more than £1.44 billion.
Further information on UCEF, including future raises, is available via Parkwalk’s website.
