A guide to the information we publish
Introduction
Cambridge Enterprise has adopted the latest Model Publication Scheme produced by the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the independent authority responsible for compliance with the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). As Cambridge Enterprise is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the University of Cambridge, this Guide to Information has been produced in accordance with the Information Commissioner’s Definition Document for Universities and other Higher Education Institutions.
This Guide was last updated November 2020.
Layout
This Guide contains information grouped into the following seven categories, as delineated by the ICO:
- Who we are and what we do
- What we spend and how we spend it
- What our priorities are and how we are doing
- How we make decisions
- Our policies and procedures
- Lists and registers
- The services we offer
Copies of requested datasets are published on the most appropriate pages of Cambridge Enterprise’s website depending on their contents.
Information is not published in this Scheme:
- where Cambridge Enterprise does not hold it,
- where Cambridge Enterprise considers is to be exempt under one of the exemptions in Part II of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, or Environmental Information Regulations (EIRs) exceptions, or its release is prohibited under another statute;
- where it is archived, out-of-date, or otherwise inaccessible; or
- where Cambridge Enterprise considers that it would be impractical or resource-intensive to prepare the material for routine release.

This website contains much of the information that Cambridge Enterprise publishes. Many of the documents are in digital format and can be downloaded from the site free of charge.
