Connecting, growing and reaching new heights with Cambridge Enterprise Leaps
Leaps is a new Cambridge Enterprise initiative to create global landing spots, embedded within leading partner organisations that give selected founders access to specialised ecosystems in key geographical hotspots.
These hubs, accessed via an application process, will provide Cambridge founders, spinouts and researchers with an easy, trusted way to work, meet and connect in major innovation centres, helping them access specialised networks, investment, talent and commercial opportunities.
Our first Leap launched in London in May 2026, in collaboration with LocalGlobe, Balderton and BioInnovation Institute Foundation (BII). The London Leap has space for three companies, one per partner, chosen on a competitive basis by both the partners and an advisory board.
Companies cannot grow and scale in isolation. London is a globally connected hub. Our partners can help our companies become a ‘local’ within these complementary innovation ecosystems, creating the meaningful connections that allow companies to grow.
