Prior to joining Cambridge Enterprise, Maria was part of the Health & Life Sciences team at PA Consulting where she focused on Technology Strategy and Commercialisation across pharma, healthcare and biotech.
Working with multiple senior stakeholders in top pharma and other private and public sector organisations, Maria has advised on market opportunities and strategies for the development and commercialisation of various technologies, including cell and gene therapies, medical devices and diagnostics.
Prior to PA, Maria spent nearly 4 years at Smith & Nephew focusing on Research & Innovation of novel wound healing technologies and managing several preclinical research programs with industry and academic partners. She is also the co-inventor of a number of therapeutic concepts in the area of wound healing.
Maria holds a MRes in Regenerative Medicine from the University of Bath and a PRINCE2® Foundation Certificate.
Maria joined Cambridge Enterprise in June 2024.
