The AI revolution holds transformative potential for our modern world, but it is not without its dangers. As the rapid development of AI continues, so does the risk of the misuse of AI across a wide range of industries. It is imperative that organisations integrate AI in an ethical manner, striving to use it for positive developments.

Tenyks aims to invent new ways for humans to interact with AI, while ensuring that it is developed with passion, humility and unbridled joy – aka protecting the world from The Terminator.

This University of Cambridge spinout helps enterprises understand and improve their AI models through examining the data they are using. This allows models to be deployed into production up to 10x faster, whilst also increasing their accuracy (and therefore making the AI safer).

Tenyks is building one of the best Visual Search Engine in the world. A diverse range of companies, ranging from Fortune 500 to high-growth startups, trust Tenyks to curate, catalogue, and query visual data such as images and videos using intelligent multi-modal queries across industrial, robotics, media & entertainment, and security industries. Leveraging Frontier GenAI technology, the Tenyks’ platform gives users limitless possibilities to explore vast amounts of visual data to extract dynamic insights that open new revenue streams, reduce risk, and streamline operational inefficiencies.

In 2022, Cambridge Enterprise participated in a round of funding along with Speedinvest, firstminute capital, LAUNCHub Ventures, Y Combinator, Creator Fund, Remus Capital, CSVE Ventures, RKKVC, Black Mountain Ventures and a dozen other angels. This raised $3.4m in funding for Tenyks, helping them to further expand their team and product capabilities.

Tenyks’ co-founders Botty Dimanov, Dmitry Kazhdan, and Maleakhi Wijaya – three University of Cambridge alumni – earned recognition by being selected to be part of Forbes’ ‘30 Under 30’ in the Technology Class for 2023. This highlights the magnitude of their work, revolutionising how we interact with AI. Their work has also secured Tenyks the prestigious title of Company of the Year at the University of Cambridge Hall of Fame Awards 2022. Tenyks has also received recognition as Rising Star in Gen AI and Best Product of the Year in Edge AI Alliance.
