Dr Jason Amartey
Investment Analyst
Jason is an Investment Analyst in the Ventures team. He supports the development of early-stage life sciences ventures.
Jason joined Cambridge Enterprise from a market intelligence firm, where he worked as a Consulting Analyst. In this role, he provided clients with data-driven insights, strategy development and market research.
Earlier in his career, Jason was a Research Scientist at PsiOxus Therapeutics (now Akamis Bio), a cancer gene therapy company based in Oxfordshire. There, he worked in the immunology team developing novel treatments for solid tumours using oncolytic viruses.
Jason holds a PhD from the University of Nottingham, where his research focused on developing therapeutics for cardiovascular disease.
Jason joined Cambridge Enterprise in June 2025.
