James Camp DPhil

Commercialisation Associate (Life Sciences)

James is a Commercialisation Associate in the Life Sciences Team.

Before joining Cambridge Enterprise, James completed a Technology Transfer Fellowship at LifeArc. During this time, he was seconded to UCL, Imperial College and Queen Mary University, gaining formal training and hands-on experience in some of London’s leading technology transfer environments. Additionally, he has experience in healthcare strategy consulting for global pharmaceutical companies and clinical project management for early-phase studies.

James holds a PhD in Clinical Medicine from the University of Oxford, where he worked on a Phase II trial, funded by AstraZeneca, focusing on the development of a biologic therapeutic for the treatment of respiratory diseases. He also has an MPhil in Experimental Medicine from the University of Cambridge including a placement with GlaxoSmithKline.

He is an author on three academic publications and is a candidate Registered Technology Transfer Professional (cRTTP).

James joined Cambridge Enterprise in July 2025.
