Morag is a Commercialisation Associate in the Life Sciences team.

Providing support for the identification and evaluation of new technologies, protection of intellectual property, and development of commercial opportunities arising from University research.

Prior to joining Cambridge Enterprise, Morag completed a Sustainable Chemistry PhD from the University of Nottingham, her thesis focused on the biological recycling of plastic. She also has an MChem from Newcastle University. During her studies she has undertaken several industrial placements. Including a year researching monomer synthesis at Mitsubishi Chemical Methacrylates and a summer placement with the biotechnology company, Ingenza. During her PhD she went on placement to her co-sponsor, Johnson Matthey, furthering the biocatalysis element of her thesis. Alongside her research she performed research consultancy projects as an Associate for Outsmart Insight.

Morag joined Cambridge Enterprise in October 2024.
