Hybridoma cell line producing LP11 antibodies raised against Herpes Simplex Virus Type-1 envelope protein Glycoprotein H, which are mouse monoclonal antibodies of the IgG2a isotype. Strongly neutralises virus in the absence of Complement. Works well for immunofluorescence (IF) on fixed specimens and for immunoprecipitiation (IP) on triton solubilised samples. Does not work in western blots. Produces antibodies with unique anti-gH neutralising properties.
