Hybridoma cell line producing LP14 antibodies raised against Herpes Simplex Virus Type-1 and Type-2 envelope protein Glycoprotein D, which are mouse monoclonal antibodies of the IgG2a isotype. Can be used to neutralise virus in the absence of Complement. Works well for immunofluorescence (IF) on fixed specimens and for immunoprecipitiation (IP) on triton solubilised samples. Can be used to detect protein by western blot. The linear epitope has been defined for this antibody.

A non-exclusive licence with standard terms and conditions is available for this reagent.
