With 99% of businesses unable to measure their own emissions, Neutreeno is shifting the path to “real zero” with their B2B SaaS platform for decarbonisation.
Utilising proprietary process networks and advanced engineering models, this climate-tech spinout from the University of Cambridge helps businesses achieve net-zero emissions by providing real-time analysis and efficiency insights.
Neutreeno partners with leading businesses wanting to move beyond carbon accounting and take decisive action to decarbonise their Scope 3 value chain emissions.
“Our mission is to democratise decarbonisation for millions of suppliers worldwide. Our vision is to become the definitive technical platform that enables enterprises and governments to tackle their most complex value chain emissions.”

Offering a new way to target supply chain emissions at scale
Building on over two decades of research from Dr Spencer Brennan and Professor Jonathan Cullen, their team includes IPCC climate scientists and low-carbon tech engineers, backed by the Cambridge Engineering Department’s Resource Efficiency group, the Judge Business School, Entrepreneur First, Innovate UK, and Cambridge Enterprise.
Neutreeno’s system allows companies to quickly identify key levers for emissions reductions across thousands of suppliers, making it easier and faster to pinpoint decarbonisation strategies. This data-driven approach reduces both emissions and costs, taking only weeks to deliver actionable insights.

Neutreeno's Process Network
From the beginning, Cambridge Enterprise Ventures has supported Neutreeno with pre-seed investment. In October 2024, it secured $5 million in seed funding from a syndicate with Regeneration.VC, Closed Loop Partners, Remarkable Ventures, Scania Group, Prequel Ventures and Beacon Venture Capital to grow their climate action. Neutreeno is scaling rapidly to meet growing demand, and as the first platform to systematically decarbonise Scope 3 emissions.
