Impact Insight video case study: Xampla

The first in our new series of Impact Insight videos focuses on Xampla.

It tells the exciting story of the research commercialisation journey that led to Xampla’s creation, from the development of its innovative plant protein material at the University of Cambridge, to the support we provided to help build an attractive commercial opportunity and raise the funding needed to establish a spin-out that could take this next generation material to market.

Xampla, which is the UK’s first university spin-out to achieve B-Corp status, is now on a mission to replace everyday single-use plastics and microplastics with their material, which performs like synthetic polymers, but decomposes naturally and fully, without harming the environment.
