Amy Lam

Senior Commercialisation Manager (Life Sciences)

Amy is a Senior Commercialisation Manager in the Technology Development & Licensing Team where she supports the commercialisation of technologies from across the life sciences.

Prior to joining Cambridge Enterprise, she spent the past 10 years at private and publicly-listed innovation and commercialisation consultancy firms, supporting and advising universities, start-ups, spin-out and global businesses with their early-stage IP and technology commercialisation opportunities. Prior to the move to consulting, she was Head of Business Development for the College of Medicine at the University of Edinburgh for new industry partnerships.

Amy has PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Glasgow, and a BSc in Pharmacology & Toxicology from the School of Pharmacy, UCL. She also holds an MSc in IP Law from Queen Mary University. Amy also serves as a Governor on the Board of Certified Licensing Professionals, Inc., a US-based nonprofit credentialling body for IP licensing professionals globally.

Amy joined Cambridge Enterprise in September 2026.
