Francesca is a Commercialisation Associate in the Research Tools team.

She joined Cambridge Enterprise from the Department of Material Science and Metallurgy in Cambridge where she worked as a Postdoc in the Hybrid Materials Group. Prior to this she obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology from the University of Cambridge working on the use of metal-organic frameworks nanomaterial for cancer therapy. Francesca holds a BSc in Biotechnology and MSc in Nanobiotechnology, both at the University of Salento (Italy).

Francesca joined Cambridge Enterprise in January 2025.
