Portfolio Valuation Questionnaire 2019 Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to UK-based Cambridge Enterprise portfolio companies who submit a completed Portfolio Valuation Questionnaire on or before the submission deadline of 31 July 2019.
  2. Upon submission of a completed Cambridge Enterprise Portfolio Valuation Questionnaire 2019, the organisation about whom the questionnaire pertains will be automatically entered into the free prize draw.
  3. All surveys must be submitted online via the link provided by email to the participant. Alternatively, an Excel version of the questionnaire is available on request by email to sf.data@enterprise.cam.ac.uk and may be submitted by email to sf.data@enterprise.cam.ac.uk or by post to Cambridge Enterprise Limited, University of Cambridge, Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT. Only one entry per organisation is permitted.
  4. The opening date for entries is 12pm on Monday 10 June 2019. The closing date of the prize draw is 11.59pm on Wednesday 31 July 2019. Entries received after this time will not be included in the prize draw.
  5. The Promoter of this prize draw is Cambridge Enterprise Limited, University of Cambridge of Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT.
  6. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when submitting online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete submissions and any incomplete submissions will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any submissions which are not completed for any reason.
  7. A winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on Wednesday 7 August July 2019.
  8. The winner will receive a bottle of Veuve Cliquot Champagne.
  9. The winner will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) before Monday 12 August 2019 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If the winner does not respond to the Promoter within 21 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  10. The prize will be sent to the winner by post within 28 days of being notified of their win.
  11. The prize for the winner is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  14. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of all prize winners to anyone who emails sf.data@enterprise.cam.ac.uk or writes to Portfolio Valuation Questionnaire 2019, Cambridge Enterprise Limited, University of Cambridge, Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by email to sf.data@enterprise.cam.ac.uk or by post to Portfolio Valuation Questionnaire 2019, Cambridge Enterprise Limited, University of Cambridge, Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  15. The Promoter will not make use of the prize winner’s details in any publicity.
  16. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  18. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  19. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy. See also Condition 14 with regard to the announcement of winners.
  20. The prize draw will be governed by the law of England and Wales and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of these courts.
