Cambridge Enterprise is the commercialisation arm of the University of Cambridge and is part of Europe’s most successful research and technology cluster. Our mission is to help University of Cambridge innovators, experts and entrepreneurs make their ideas and concepts more commercially successful for the benefit of society, the UK economy and the University.
Our newly created Ecosystem Initiatives & Partnerships (EIP) team plays a key role in delivering our agenda to connect two pivotal ecosystems – the University and the wider Cambridge ecosystem – in a pro-active and strategic way that enables maximum benefit for both. Cambridge Enterprise sits as a bridge between these ecosystems – intrinsically linked to both – and EIPs activity is designed to support potential entrepreneurs and founders as part of a global innovative university ecosystem. EIP currently manages three core activities:
This is a full-time role based at the University’s West Cambridge site at the Hauser Forum and will ideally be office-based for 3 days per week (or more if preferred).
Full time salary up to £40,000 based on individual skills and experience.
This position will remain open until filled.
This newly established role is to support the Head of EIP across the business unit (30%) but primarily to work on the delivery of our International Outreach activity (70%). Through International Outreach (IO), Cambridge Enterprise shares its experience and expertise with universities, governments and other organisations around the world with training and consultancy projects, using a network of experienced consultants alongside our own staff. The Team Assistant is the first point of contact for all incoming enquiries and requests for support and engagement.
