Cambridge Enterprise is looking for an exceptional Digital Communications Manager with strong copywriting skills and a passion for content creation, analysis and iteration. If  you have experience developing and delivering an overall digital communications strategy, have a passion for writing in all forms and want to use your skills to help contribute to society, this might be the role for you.

Cambridge Enterprise is the commercialisation arm of the University of Cambridge and is part of Europe’s most successful research and technology cluster. Our mission is to help University of Cambridge innovators, experts and entrepreneurs make their ideas and concepts more commercially successful for the benefit of society, the UK economy and the University.

Our Marketing and Communications team is key to Cambridge Enterprise. Informed by overarching business objectives and mission, this team is responsible for bringing our core services, strategic programmes and business initiatives to life through engaging stories and customer-centric marketing strategies.

This is a full-time role based at the University’s West Cambridge site at the Hauser Forum and will ideally be office-based for 3 days per week (or more if preferred).

Salary from £35,000 – £38,000 based on individual’s skills and experience.

This position will remain open until filled.

The Role

The Digital Communications Manager will play a pivotal role in Cambridge Enterprise’s mission and company objectives by driving our brand’s online presence and engaging our target audience through strategic digital communications, compelling content and engaging storytelling. The Digital Communications Manager will be responsible for end-to-end management and execution of these campaigns, from strategy formulation to implementation, delivery, channel management, content creation, measurement, and analysis across multiple and integrated channels including web, email, and social media.

Additionally, this role-holder will be responsible for long and short-form copywriting, often translating complex information into clear, engaging and error-free content across various formats and audiences.
