Cambridge Enterprise Awareness Survey 2019 Prize Draw Terms and Conditions

  1. The prize draw is open to Cambridge Enterprise Awareness Survey 2019 participants who are UK resident University of Cambridge employees aged 18 years or over, except employees of Cambridge Enterprise or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
  2. Upon submission of a completed Staff Awareness Survey 2019 you will be automatically entered into the free prize draw.
  3. All surveys should be completed and submitted online via the unique link provided by email to the participant. Alternatively, a PDF version of the survey is available to download and may be submitted by email to surveys@enterprise.cam.ac.uk or by post to Staff Awareness Survey 2019, Cambridge Enterprise Limited, University of Cambridge, Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT. Only one entry per person is permitted.
  4. The opening date for entries is 8am on Tuesday 18 June 2019. The closing date of the prize draw is 11pm on Sunday 30 June 2019. Entries received after this time will not be included in the prize draw.
  5. The Promoter of this prize draw is Cambridge Enterprise Limited, University of Cambridge of Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT.
  6. If for any reason a technical interruption, fault or site failure occurs when submitting online, the Promoter does not take any responsibility for incomplete submissions and any incomplete submissions will not be considered valid for entry into the prize draw. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any submissions which are not completed for any reason.
  7. Winners will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process on Tuesday 2 July 2019.
  8. The first winner will receive a John Lewis & Partners gift voucher to the value of £500. Five further winners will also be selected, each receiving a John Lewis & Partners gift voucher to the value of £100.
  9. The winners will be notified by email (using details provided at entry) before Monday 8 July 2019 and must provide a postal address to claim their prize. If a winner does not respond to the Promoter within 21 days of being notified by the Promoter, then the prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
  10. The prizes will be sent to the winners by post within 28 days of being notified of their win.
  11. The prizes for the winners are non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
  12. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prizes with alternative prizes of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  13. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
  14. The Promoter must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation the Promoter will send the surname and county of all prize winners to anyone who emails surveys@enterprise.cam.ac.uk or writes to Staff Awareness Survey 2019, Cambridge Enterprise Limited, University of Cambridge, Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the closing date stated in condition 4. If you object to any or all of your surname, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact the Promoter by email to surveys@enterprise.cam.ac.uk or by post to Staff Awareness Survey 2019, Cambridge Enterprise Limited, University of Cambridge, Hauser Forum, 3 Charles Babbage Road, Cambridge CB3 0GT. In such circumstances, the Promoter must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
  15. The Promoter will not make use of the prize winners’ details in any publicity.
  16. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions.
  17. The Promoter reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the promotion where it becomes necessary to do so.
  18. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees. Your statutory rights are not affected.
  19. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion will only be processed as set out in the Promoter’s privacy policy. See also Condition 14 with regard to the announcement of winners.
  20. The prize draw will be governed by the law of England and Wales and entrants to the prize draw submit to the jurisdiction of these courts.
