As CTO, Matt’s role involves leading the IT team, working with Cambridge Enterprise strategic project groups to provide expertise, support and advice on their IT requirements, developing the IT strategy, and researching, recommending and project managing new IT technology solutions, thus helping Cambridge Enterprise engage with its customers, streamline business processes, and allow staff to be more effective.
Graduating from Cambridge in Engineering, Matt followed a career in web design and development, then enterprise applications and finally the full IT portfolio, working for many years in the media sector (Emap plc and The Guardian), but more recently a Tennessee software company and Cambridgeshire County Council.
Matt is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, having completed a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) at Anglia Ruskin University, and also attained Chartered IT Professional (CITP) status whilst studying IT Leadership at Cranfield University.
Matt joined Cambridge Enterprise in January 2019.
Michael has overall responsibility for end user support and manages the Helpdesk Team.
Prior to joining Cambridge Enterprise, Michael was Helpdesk Manager for the University’s Research Services Division.
Originally a life skills trainer, and then a human resources manager, Michael partially changed career again by focusing his staff management and psychology training on the IT sector. Michael has managed a diverse array of projects during his career and has a personal interest in person-centred computing.
Michael joined Cambridge Enterprise in 2007.
As IT Delivery Manager, Chris is focused on the delivery of technology by maintaining essential systems, providing design and implementation input and co-managing IT projects.
Before joining Cambridge Enterprise, Chris was Service Desk Manager at the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music (ABRSM) where he led the Technology Support team and implemented best practice policies and processes. Prior to ABRSM, Chris was Technical Operations Manager at the Victoria and Albert Museum and was responsible for the Service Desk, Applications Support, and Asset and License Management teams.
Chris holds a BSc in Computing Technology, is CompTIA certified in Networking and holds ITIL certifications in Service Operation, Service Transition and Continual Service Improvement.
Chris joined Cambridge Enterprise in October 2022.
As an IT Support Analyst, Maruf is responsible for providing technical support and advice to our IT users.
Maruf is focused on creating a user-friendly environment for our IT system that enables any IT issues to be resolved quickly. Previously Maruf was employed for IT support role in various organisations including Marshall ADG and Bees UK LTD.
Maruf graduated from Anglia Ruskin University, achieving a 1st class degree in computer science including networking, web design and programming. He also has a certificate in Microsoft Windows 10.
Maruf joined Cambridge Enterprise in July 2018.
As an Application Support Analyst, Richard is responsible for providing both technical and process advice for our Microsoft Dynamics solution.
Richard came to us from Thomas Cook, where he worked in a number of roles over a 17 year period, the last seven of which have involved various types of CRM systems.
Richard holds both a BA and MBA.
Richard joined Cambridge Enterprise in March 2020.
As an IT Support Analyst, Anca is responsible for providing technical support and advice to our IT users.
Anca ensures the smooth functionality of the IT system within Cambridge Enterprise so that our IT users can seamlessly use the available technology in their day-to-day work.
Anca has previously worked in IT support roles for a variety of organisations such as Marshall ADG and DuPont EMEA.
A graduate of the University of Craiova in Romania, Anca studied French and English literature. She worked as a French teacher in the UK before starting a career in IT support.
Anca joined Cambridge Enterprise in 2017.
