Dr Paul Thomas
Paul joined Cambridge Enterprise in November 2011 as a Technology Manager in the Life Sciences team. He brings over 9 years experience in technology transfer and business development gained at the University of Essex. Paul gained a BSc in Biochemistry at Imperial College and returned to IC, after several years’ employment with Celltech, to undertake doctoral research in Protein Engineering. He returned to the biotech industry and spent 15 years in technical and management roles at Syngenta (formerly ICI/Zeneca). He now focuses on innovation management and IP commercialisation. Paul completed an MBA at the University of Bath in 2007.
