Christopher attained a BSc (Hons) and MSc from the University of the Witwatersrand, followed by a PhD from the Department of Biochemistry at Cambridge, working on innate immune receptor signalling and assembly. He subsequently worked as a research consultant and postdoc, collaborating with a variety of companies including GSK, Biopharma, Pfizer and AstraZeneca. Christopher joined Cambridge Enterprise as a Consultancy Associate in September 2011.
