Andy joined Cambridge Enterprise as a member of the Cambridge Enterprise at Addenbrooke's team in December 2002. Previously, he had followed a research career in molecular biology, focusing on how RNA is recognised by proteins and antibiotics. He was awarded a PhD from the University of Leeds following his undergraduate studies in Biomedical Sciences at the University of Bradford.
